Rajoy Announces Plan for Equality between Men and Women

USPA NEWS - The Spanish prime minister, Mariano Rajoy, said Wednesday in Parliament the forthcoming adoption of a Plan for Equality between Men and Women, including affirmative action to ensure equality between the sexes. Rajoy expressed in this regard to questions from the opposition.
In response to a question from Socialist leader Pedro Sánchez, after the publication of a report on wage differences between men and women in Spain, Rajoy argued, however, that salaries are set by companies and the government can not intervene in it.
